8 DAYS/ 7 NIGHTS (YANGON-BAGAN-POPA-HEHO-KALAW-INLE TOUR)
Day.01 : Yangon
Arrive at Yangon Airport by flight. Welcome by a tour
guide and transfer to Hotel.
Dinner at local restaurant and overnight
in Yangon.
Day.02 : Yangon - Bagan
Breakfast at the Hotel.
Leave Yangon for Bagan by
domestic flight. On arrival transfer to Hotel and proceed for sightseeing,
starting, with busy local market and continuing with visits to a diverse
selection of the most important pagodas and temples. Included are
SHWEZIGON PAGODA, built by King ANAWRAHTA in the early 11th century as a
religious shrine; KU BYAUK GYI, a temple with exquisite murals of Jataka
scenes; ANANDA TEMPLE, with four huge standing Buddha images and numerous
seated figures in niches around the galleried interior.
Lunch at local
restaurant.
After lunch, continue sightseeing, for visit to SHWESANDAW
PAGODA with five terraces, built in 1057; MANUHA TEMPLE from 1059, in the
Mon style; and NAPAYA TEMPLE, said to have once been the Palace of King
Manuha and Watch sunset over the AYEYARWADDY RIVER form BUPAYA
PAGODA.
Dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Bagan.
Day.03 : Bagan - Popa - Bagan
Breakfast at the Hotel.
Morning excursion to Mount
Popa with en route visit to a toddy palm juice production plant.
Lunch
at local restaurant.
Afternoon, visit lacquerware factory and then
horse cart ride the temples to riverside. Visit Bupaya and boat ride to
Lawkananda Pagoda.
Day. 04 : Bagan - Heho - Pindaya - Kalaw
Breakfast at the Hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to
airport for domestic flight to Heho. On arrival drive to Pindaya and visit
Buddhist cave.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Afternoon drive to
Kalaw.
Dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Kalaw.
Day.05 : Kalw - Inle
Breakfast at the Hotel.
Morning, trek to Palaung
village of Ywathit, Taryaw and Nyaung Gon.
Lunch at local
restaurant.
Afternoon, drive to Inle. Dinner at local restaurant and
overnight Inle (Nyaung Shwe).
Day.06 : Inle
Breakfast at the Hotel.
After breakfast, a fullday
excursion by boat on Inle Lake will include sights of the famous
leg-rowers, typical floating gardens, local methods of fishing and village
life. Visits are made to PHAUNGDAW OO PAGODA. Lunch at local
restaurant.
Continue to the the weaving village of inpawkhon and
floating market.
Dinner at lcoal restaurant and overnight in Inle.
Day.07 : Inle - Heho - Yangon
Breakfast at the Hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to
airport for domestic flight to Yangon.
Lunch at local restaurant.
After lunch, Yangon sightseeing to SHWEDAGON PAGODA world famous
golden stupa. The golden dome rises 98 meters above its base and is
covered with 60tons of pure gold. CHAUK HTATKYI PAGODA, a colossal
reclining Buddha. Proceed to BOGYOKE (SCOTT) market, with time to browse
among the hundreds of stalls for souvenir bargain and SULE PAGODA, a
beautiful octagonal golden stupa, dating back over 2,000 years.
Dinner
at local restaurant and overnight in Yangon.
Day.08 : Yangon
Breakfast at the Hotel.
Leave for airport to take the
departure flight.
